Mechanics Discount Program: Additional 15% Off Eligible Tools for Canadian Tire Mechanics
Details:
- The Mechanics Discount Program is being relaunched with new COSTAR integration for easy processing and an extended list of eligible products.
- The program allows Canadian Tire Mechanics to purchase tools they need for auto service work at a discount, and focuses on owned brands such as Maximum and Mastercraft.
• Canadian Tire Mechanics will receive an additional 15% off eligible tools. See the related links for a list of eligible products.
• Current retail price is discounted at time of processing in COSTAR (regular or sale price). - The Mechanics Discount Program is separate from any other store/employee discount that may be applicable.
• Combination of the Mechanics Discount Program with any other store/employee discount is at the Dealer’s discretion. - All purchases must go through COSTAR and must be marked with codes ETP and DIS, as specified in the instruction package in the related links.
• Purchases not marked with the ETP and DIS codes will not be rebated.
• Approval from a Dealer or authorized employee is required to complete purchases in COSTAR. - The Mechanics Discount Program is funded by CTC and will be rebated to stores quarterly, based on the past quarter’s sales marked with ETP and DIS codes.
- A staff poster advertising the program is included in the related links. This can be posted in any area that mechanics frequent (break rooms, Auto service office, etc.)
• Full sized printed copies will also be shipped to stores the week of September 18
